What the Content Dash is

The Content Dash is a tool InnerMedia provides to schools we are building a website for, so you can review, edit and complete your website's content. InnerMedia acts as a data processor for your school, which remains the data controller for the content and images it provides.

What we store

• Your account: your name, work email address, and when you signed in.
• Website content: the page text you and our team write, comments you leave, and the PDFs you upload.
• Images: photos stay in your school's Google Drive folder on InnerMedia's shared drive. The Content Dash shows thumbnails of them to signed-in users from your school and our team; it does not copy them elsewhere until your content is signed off and loaded into your new website.
• Activity: a log of who edited which page and when, so we can support you and track progress.

How AI is used

To give you a head start, we use an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to draft each page from your existing website's public text, your sitemap and your tone of voice guide. Only text is sent to the AI — never your photos. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf under a commercial agreement and does not use it to train its models. Every AI draft is reviewed and approved by your school before it is used.

Where your data is held

Content, uploads and accounts are stored on Google Cloud in the EU (Belgium, europe-west1). AI drafting requests are processed by Anthropic. Emails (sign-in links and reminders) are sent through our email delivery provider.

How long we keep it

We keep your content for the life of your website project and for 12 months afterwards so we can support you, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Please don't upload

Personal data about pupils beyond what is needed for your public website (e.g. no safeguarding documents, medical information or pupil records). Public policies and forms are fine.
